Zeshaan completed training in plastic & reconstructive surgery and postdoctoral scientific training in regenerative medicine and stem cell biology, both at Stanford University.

His research focuses on biological mechanisms of tissue repair and homeostasis in aging and diabetes. His work has been supported by multiple grants and has resulted in numerous prestigious awards and the publication of more than 100 scientific papers. Zeshaan’s mission is to help turn the science of regenerative medicine into a new field of healthcare focused on prevention rather than the current paradigm of sick care.

In his free time, Zeshaan enjoys spending time with his family, including his two young children.

Zeshaan completed his medical degree at King’s College London, his Master’s at Imperial College London, and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons before he joined Stanford. He also completed the Ignite Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
